Born and raised in South Africa, my family and I immigrated to the US in ’96. In 2000 I graduated with a BS in Environmental Education from Oregon State University. I went to teach ESL in Seoul, Korea for 11mths and 3 yrs later I eventually made it back to the US. My travels include: Egypt, UK, Ireland, Scotland, Korea, China, Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Cambodia, Alaska, Canada, Lesotho, Swaziland and South Africa.
I am a PADI certified Rescue Diver and a 2nd degree black belt in Taekwondo (wow that sounds rather impressive when you write it down).
Now my adventures bring me to Seattle. Here I hope to “settle” for a bit and hopefully get a job at the Woodland Park Zoo in the Education Dept. For the first month or so I will be living and working at the Green Tortoise Hostel, so say “hi” if you are staying there.
If you are exploring www.bootsnall.com be sure to look for me, I am the mud girl named “Trekker”.
Till next we meet, keep trekkin’.
