Chinatown’s 2007 Summer Festival

During the weekend of July 14-15, Chinatown - International District held their annual Summer Festival in Hing Hay Park.
Booths galore

From food to crafts to a fantastic array of entertainment, exploring the international district, located just above the amtrak station, during the festival was a great way to get a feel for the culture and lifestyles of numerous Asian Cultures.

Chinese Dancing

Entertainment included acts from Korea, China, Japan, Hawaii, Cambodia, India, Vietnam and many more performing traditional dances and music.

Hula Dancing

So next time you are planning to be in Seattle in the summer, keep an ear open for this festival and enjoy the sights and sounds of Asia.
