During the month and a half celebration of SEAFAIR, beginning on June 30th through August 19th, much fun was had by all. There were parades, and events throught Seattle every weekend. There were boat races and Blue Angels, pirates and pazazz!

12th Man Fever!

Seattle has 12th man fever and the RedSkins better beware. Saturday, January 5th, at 1pm the Seahawks will play the Redskins in the NFC Wildcard in hopes of making it to the playoffs. Seattle-ites promise noise and more noise in and outside the stadium!
Today, known as blue friday, locals were seen wearing Seahawk blue, the WAMU center created a giant 12 through selectively closing and opening blinds, the Space Needle is sporting a 12th man flag, and at 6.30pm there is a raffle at the QFC in the University Village for playoff tickets… There is certainly football fever …

BUMBERSHOOT IS HERE!!!

Today was not only the first of the month and the first day of Labor Day Weekend.. It also saw the start of the 3 day music and arts festival by the name of BUMBERSHOOT!

With food, arts, activities and music music music, Bumbershoot is a great time to be in Seattle.

Bands include : Crowded House, The Shins, Fergie, Joss Stone and many more.
