Where to see fireworks on the 4th of July!
Well the time is here again to dress in red, white and blue, pull out the BBQ and light up a few fireworks (being careful of course). Here is a list of some the best places to see the all the fanfair, but be sure to get there early before all the spaces are filled.
Sculpture Park : Located right on the waterfront just past pier 70 in Belltown.
Myrtle Edwards Park: Located right next to Sculpture Park, I enjoyed the 4th here last year. There are usually staff checking that there is no alcohol, but feel free to take along some food. There are also icecream carts and hotdog vendors. Sit on the water and take in the sites as the fireworks barge floats by.
Gasworks Park: Join the rest of us on top of the hill and be sure to bring your BBQ supplies.
Seattle Center: Start the 4th of July by joining the naturalization ceremony and welcoming new citizens of the USA. Then hang out at the International Beer Festival and watch the fireworks.
Space Needle: Enjoy the view from the top of the Space Needle up until 9pm, after that you will need the golden ticket to be part of the 4th of July party.
Alki Beach: Catch the water taxi over to Alki, enjoy a sunset kayak with Alki Kayak Rental and then join the rest of West Seattle on the beach to watch the fireworks.
